In this edition of our Alumni Talks series, our alumnae Laura Altschäffel and Gabriela Zeller presented insights about cyber risk modelling and cyber (re)insurance.
Laura joined the reinsurance industry after graduating with a Master’s degree in Mathematics in 2020. She has since gathered practical experience in cyber risk accumulation modelling, cyber data analytics, and cyber reinsurance underwriting.
Gabriela completed a doctorate on Cyber Risk Modelling and Cyber Insurance after graduating with a Master’s degree in Finance and Information Management in 2019. She has thus tackled the challenges of cyber risk from an academic viewpoint until 2023. She now works in the reinsurance industry.
